A little bit about me

I’m Nora, the person behind ‘Nora Vegan’. 

Originally from Barcelona, I was lucky to grow up with a diet very based on plants and whole foods, and with friends that ver plant-based from a very early age, and with parents that let me experiment going veggie as a kid a few times.

I was fully vegetarian by the age of 17, and in 2020, during lockdown, I finally made the switch to a vegan lifestyle, not having looked back since!

As we all know, going vegan is a process, unique to each person. The first and easiest step for me was to change my diet, following by cosmetics, fashion, and everything else.

What is Nora Vegan and who is it for?

Everyone is welcome here! I don’t believe in being the perfect vegan, but in individual people doing the lifestyle changes that possible to their unique circumstances. And that’s why this is a space free of judgement, with tips and information for both new vegans and the ones that have been in the community for long. This is also a space for the ones who feel curious and want to learn about what veganism is and what switches they can do in their day-to-day to lead a lifestyle more compassionate to animals.

You will find everything, from vegan recipes, to curly hair and skincare recommendations, fashion brands, vegan travel tips, restaurant reviews and more!

We couldn’t believe that this LEMON CHEESECAKE was vegan! πŸ˜‹πŸ€€ @S+N🌈 #πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ #veganrecipes #veganbaking #vegancheesecake #bakingdate β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”- INGREDIENTS: – Biscoff biscuits for the base – ⁠Melted butter – ⁠Vegan cream cheese – Vegan greek yogurt – Vegan double cream – Lemon (zest and juice) – Icing sugar – Arrowroot starch – Vanilla extract – Sicilian lemon extract β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” INSTRUCTIONS – Mix melted butter and crushed biscuits and press onto the bakin tin (previously layered sith baking paper). – Bake crust until crunchy. – Mix all ingredients together and blend or whisk manually. – Place a tray with water at the bottom of the oven (prevents cake from drying out). – Pour cake mixture on the previously baked crust and bake until golden). – Cool in the oven for 1 hour. – Cool to room temperature for 30 min (aprox) or until not hot anymore. – Chill on the fridge overnight.
